"We act like this country hasn't been run off drug money and corrupt officials."
Chris Brown is furious over a perceived lack of fairness in the US justice system, now that his friend Meek Mill is facing a return to jail.
A Philadelphia
judge said during a court hearing today (December 17) that Mill could be
ordered back to jail in February due to probation violations.
Mill
was accused of ignoring court-ordered travel restrictions on multiple
occasions, relating to his 2008 drug and gun conviction.
The
rapper was joined by girlfriend Nicki Minaj at the hearing as he
pleaded with the judge that his "whole life is on the line", reports The AP.
His friend Chris Brown – who has had his own
legal issues - subsequently launched into a Twitter rant about the
plight of young African-American males in the US today.
"wish
the judge could see the influence meek mill can have out of jail more
than in it.Y'all wanna lock him up but what about FREDDIE GRAY?" he
tweeted.
"The system is set on bullshit. The DAs and JUDGES get just as high as the next man and f**k people's lives up!

"Being young
black men in America this is what we are brainwashed with. It's not
pookie up the block that's killing us. It's the 'PLUG!
"Good ole America. We are blind to most of this shit because we are prisoners of our own mind and materials!"
The singer-songwriter's Australian tour was cancelled at the last minute this month, when the country denied his request for a visa on character grounds.
