At the same time, a petition to ban the presidential hopeful from entering the UK became the most signed government petition in British history.
Wading even further into legally-murky waters, Trump claimed that if he were elected he would sign an executive order mandating the death penalty for all people convicted of killing policemen.
He made the comments while accepting endorsement from the New England Police Benevolent Association on Thursday evening.
‘One of the first things I do, in terms of executive order if I win, will be to sign a strong, strong statement that will go out to the country – out to the world – that anybody killing a policeman, policewoman, a police officer — anybody killing a police officer… the death penalty.
‘It’s going to happen, OK?’
The Donald vs The UK
This death penalty plan comes after a barrage of disturbing comments about Muslims, London and the UK over the course of this week.
