Monday the 14th of December, 2015 has become a sad day for Nollywood and for Nigerians. Their beloved comic actor Dede One Day
has passed away early in the morning. Just the night before he was
present and participating in several events and ceremonies. Late at
night he felt ill and was urgently taken to the hospital. Unfortunately
doctors could not help him and the actor has passed away early in the
morning of high blood pressure.
Dede One Day was called the King of Nigerian Comedy. He was a born comedian and well-loved by his fandom. He had the knack of turning series and sad things in life into fun and amusing ones. He knew how to make people laugh and enjoy themselves.

The death of Dede One Day is not the only Nollywood loss in 2015. There are other names of the famous and popular Nigerians to be given. One of them is Ajigijaga from Yoruba tribe. He has passed away in July 2015. He was sixty years of age at that time and died of the injuries gotten in the accident. He has left behind a young grieving wife and many loyal fans of his gift.
The last name to be given is Peter Bunor. He died in May 2015. This actor has been featured in many Nollywood movies and is considered to be one of the veterans of the dream factory of Nigeria.
He was ill for a while and abandoned by many of his colleagues from Nollywood. During his lifetime he has managed to become the teacher and instructor of many of them.
Death has no respect for career, money or talents. It comes to each and every one regardless of their fame or position in life. Even though people feel sad over the faded stars, new talents spark up on the Nollywood dome bringing new inspiration, creativity and joy of life to the screen
